Christmas Basket themes and Bake Sale Information

Falun School

Christmas Concert Baskets &

Bake Sale

It is a long standing tradition for sixth grade students being actively involved in the school Christmas concert. This fundraising event supports Friends of Falun School as well as the sixth grade students year end celebration of their accomplishments and moving onto Jr. High.  Your support in continuing to make this fundraising event a success is much appreciated.

There are three ways to support:

  • BASKET DRAWS; providing a donation for the christmas basket classroom themes.

               ECS- Crafty

Grade 1 /2 Cozy and Snuggly

               Grade 2 /3 Family Time

               Grade 3 /4 Sporty

               Grade 4 /5 Chef

Grade 5 /6 Winter Survival kit

Odd and Ends items donated which do not fit within the themes.

Donations need to be handed in by Wednesday, December 13.  Donations can be drop off at Falun School office or send it with your child (make a note in agenda this way classroom teacher is clear this is a donated item).

  • BAKE SALE ITEMS; loafs, cookies, pies, squares, cakes, bars, bread, really anything delicious.   All baked goods can be homemade or store bought.  Delivered to Falun Tuesday, December 19th would be appreciated in order to wrap and price baking.  If you wish to wrap and decorate the baking great but no worries if you don't as volunteers will wrap baked goods for the sale.

  • VOLUNTEERS; even though this is a grade 6 tradition, volunteers within the school  are welcome to support.  Volunteer positions needed is the for the day of concert; selling raffle tickets prior to afternoon and evening concert.  Selling bake goods following both concerts in the afternoon and evening.

If you have any questions or need further information or like to volunteer you can contact the school or myself carly.ganske@wrps11.ca

On behalf of the student, parents and staff thank you for your support.
